Taxonomy
Meleagrinella mclearni was named by McRoberts (2011). It is not extant. Its type specimen is GSC 132263, a valve (left valve). Its type locality is Pine Pass (CM99PPS-3), which is in a Sevatian offshore limestone in the Pardonet Formation of Canada.
