Taxonomy
Monophyllites pradyumna was named by Diener (1895). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chitichun No. 1 Block, which is in an Anisian carbonate limestone in China.
It was recombined as Leiophyllites pradyumna by Spath (1934), Bando (1970) and Balini and Lăcătuş (2024).
