Taxonomy
Paramphicrinus magnus was named by Moore and Strimple (1973). It is not extant. Its type specimen is SUI 32926 (crown). Its type locality is Sweetwater Creek (Loc. 27), which is in a Morrowan marine limestone/shale in the Bloyd Formation of Arkansas.
