Taxonomy
Pholiderpeton scutigerum was named by Huxley (1869). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Toftshaw near Bradford, which is in a Westphalian A terrestrial coal in the Lower Coal Measures Formation of the United Kingdom.
