Taxonomy
Planetoceras postremum was named by Reed (1944). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is SE of Alyanwali, K28.737-743, 750-760, 827-833, N of Jabbi, Salt Range, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone/sandstone in the Chhidru Formation of Pakistan.
