Taxonomy
Uncinunellina rotunda was named by Glushenko (1975). Its type specimen is UkrNIIGaz 1/63-1, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Karla Libknekhta mine, which is in an Asselian carbonate limestone in the Slavyanskoy Formation of Ukraine.
