Taxonomy
Uncinulus posterus was named by Waagen (1883). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jabi, "Cephalopod Bed", Salt Range, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine limestone in the Chhidru Formation of Pakistan.
It was recombined as Uncinunellina postera by Reed (1944), Wu et al. (2022).
