Mangilia (Pleurotomella) bellistriata was named by Clark (1895). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pope's Creek, Nanjemoy Fm., which is in a Ypresian marine siliciclastic in the Nanjemoy Formation of Maryland.
