Carilya roberti
Taxonomy
Taeniothaerus roberti was named by Archbold (1996). Its type specimen is CPC 33877, a shell (Incomplete internal mould of conjoined shell), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is BMR GB52, Simpson Knolls, Perth Basin, which is in an Artinskian coastal sandstone/siltstone in the Mingenew Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Carilya roberti by Archbold (2001).
