Quadrimorphina was named by Finlay (1939) [Sepkoski's age data: K Ceno R]. It is extant. It was considered unknown by Finlay (1939).

It was assigned to Quadrimorphinidae by Finlay (1939); and to Foraminiferida by Sepkoski (2002).
