Taxonomy
Kashmirites baidi was named by Brühwiler and Bucher (2012). Its type specimen is PIMUZ 27304 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Baid-A, which is in a Smithian basinal (carbonate) lime mudstone in Oman.
