Taxonomy
Altadema altadema was named by Mazaev (2003). Its type specimen is PM RAS 4471/16/13, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality 016. Quarry near Georgievo village, which is in a Rusavkinian carbonate limestone in the Rusavkino Formation of the Russian Federation.
