Taxonomy
Medlicottia chozaensis was named by Plummer and Scott (1937). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mule Creek, S of Colorado River, Runnels County, which is in a Kungurian marine siliciclastic in the Choza Formation of Texas.
