Taxonomy
Parafusulina tomowoozawai was named by Kobayashi (2011). Its type specimen is D2-028794, a test, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ak-62, section 2, Akasaka, which is in a Kungurian shallow subtidal limestone in the Akasaka Formation of Japan.
