Tugurites fastigatus
Taxonomy
Pseudolioceras fastigatum was named by Westermann (1969) [Pseudolioceras maclintocki fastigatum]. Its type specimen is USNM 160924, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS Mesozoic 21252, Wide Bay, which is in a Discites marine siltstone in the Kialagvik Formation of Alaska.
It was recombined as Pseudolioceras maclintocki fastigatum by Westermann (1969); it was recombined as Tugurites fastigatus by Sey and Kalacheva (1980).
