Liaoconodon hui
Taxonomy
Liaoconodon hui was named by Meng et al. (2011). Its type specimen is IVPP V16051, a skeleton (a skeleton preserved on one slab of laminated siltstone), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Xiao-tai-zi, La-ma-dong, Jianchang, which is in an Aptian lacustrine siltstone in the Jiufotang Formation of China. It is the type species of Liaoconodon.
