Taxonomy
Daixina sera was named by Leven (1992). Its type specimen is GGM VI-213/74, a test, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vozgina River, sample D33-5, which is in an Artinskian shallow subtidal limestone in the Zygar Formation of Tajikistan.
