Taxonomy
Dutkevitchia formosa was named by Leven and Shcherbovich (1978). Its type specimen is GGM VI-175/70, a test, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kukhifrush Range, section 1015, bed 52/1, which is in an Asselian shallow subtidal limestone in Tajikistan.
