Paraplacodus broilii
Taxonomy
Paraplacodus broilii was named by Peyer (1931). Its type specimen is PIMUZ T4773, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Val Porina (incl. tetto nuovo), which is in an Anisian/Ladinian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal dolomite/shale in the Besano Formation of Switzerland.
