Hahnotherium antiquum
Taxonomy
Hahnotherium antiquum was named by Butler and Hooker (2005). Its type specimen is BMNHM46797, a tooth (a left second upper molar), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kirtlington 3p (Mammal Bed), which is in a Bathonian mire/swamp marl in the Forest Marble Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Hahnotherium.
