Emilites incertus

Taxonomy
Paralegoceras incertum was named by Böse (1919). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wolf Camp, Glass Mountains, which is in a Gzhelian carbonate limestone in the Gaptank Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Emilites, Plummerites.

It was recombined as Plummerites incertus by Miller and Furnish (1940); it was recombined as Emilites incertus by Miller and Furnish (1940), Mapes and Boardman (1988), Leonova (2002), Leonova and Boiko (2015).
