Phaneroceras lenticulare
Taxonomy
Phaneroceras lenticulare was named by Plummer and Scott (1937). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UTBEG 153-T-6, San Saba highway, 5.6 km east and 1.4 km south of Rochelle, which is in a Moscovian marine shale in the Smithwick Formation of Texas.
