Protome batalaria
Taxonomy
Protome batalaria was named by Stocker (2012). Its type specimen is PEFO 34034, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Battleship NW, UCMP V82261, which is in a Norian floodplain mudstone/sandstone in the Chinle Formation of Arizona.
