Hsisosuchus dashanpuensis
Taxonomy
Hsisosuchus dashanpuensis was named by Gao (2001). Its type specimen is ZDM 3405, a partial skeleton (a complete skull, a single cervical vertebra, a single sacral vertebra, and seven dorsal osteoderms), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dashanpu Dinosaur Quarry [lower], which is in a Bajocian/Oxfordian lacustrine sandstone/mudstone in the Shaximiao Formation of China.
