Taxonomy
Cancrinella yanagidae was named by Waterhouse (1981). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tham Nam Maholan, Ban Nong Hin, Changwat Loei, which is in an Asselian carbonate limestone in Thailand.
It was recombined as Costatumulus yanagidae by Shi et al. (2001).
