Taxonomy
Enaliosuchus schroderi was named by Kuhn (1936). Its type specimen is MMGLV unnumbered, a partial skeleton (skull with mandible, lacking snout, and atlas axis and cervical three), and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Cricosaurus schroderi by Young and Andrade (2009), Bronzati et al. (2012), Young et al. (2013), Parrilla-Bel and Canudo (2015).
