Platysuchus multicrobiculatus
Taxonomy
Mystriosaurus multicrobiculatus was named by Berckhemer (1929). Its type specimen is SMNS 9930 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Holzmaden, epsilon II/6, Uppsala pterosaur, which is in a Toarcian marine shale in the Posidonia Shale Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Platysuchus.
It was recombined as Platysuchus multicrobiculatus by Westphal (1961), Pierce et al. (2009), Bronzati et al. (2012).
