Taxonomy
Caucasorhynchia circularis was named by Jin et al. (1979). Its type specimen is NIGP 42820 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Muchizaleng XF1572, Tanggula District, Golmud County, which is in a Norian marine horizon in China.
