H.-T. Liu and D.-Z. Su 1983 | Body elongate fusiform. Head fairly short. Snout blunt. Parietal relatively short, its lateral margin almost straight or with a very small process. Median gular plate with large posterior part. Dorsal fin comparatively high, its base shorter than that of S. zdanskyi, arising from the middle point of body length or slightly before that point, with 22-23 rays. Two postcleithra. Posterior margin of scales almost smooth. |
