Herangirhynchia herangiensis
Taxonomy
Herangirhynchia herangiensis was named by MacFarlan (1992). Its type specimen is JDC C2112, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is JDC 1151, Ururoa Point (R15/f8005), which is in a Toarcian marine horizon in New Zealand. It is the type species of Herangirhynchia.
