Taxonomy
Hulitherium thomasetti was named by Flannery and Plane (1986). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pureni, which is in a Pleistocene fluvial-lacustrine horizon in Papua New Guinea. It is the type species of Hulitherium.
