Taxonomy
Compressoproductus multicorrugatus was named by Li (1986). Its type specimen is Yichang IGMR 562163 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GP34, Bunuo section, Changme district, Longlin county, which is in an Artinskian marine horizon in the Longlin Formation of China.
