Taxonomy

Oliva gracilis was named by Broderip and Sowerby (1829). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Olivella gracilis by Grant and IV and Gale (1931); it was recombined as Olivella (Olivella) gracilis by Olsson (1956).
