Taxonomy
Olivella indivisa was named by Guppy (1896) [DISTRIBUTION: Miocene-Pliocene; Caribbean]. Its type specimen is USNM 107087, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Olivella (Dactylidia) indivisa by Woodring (1928); it was recombined as Olivella (Olivella) indivisa by Olsson (1956).
