Paranaichthys longianalis
Taxonomy
Paranaichthys longianalis was named by Dias (2012). Its type specimen is MCP–3371–PV, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Santo Antonio da Platina, which is in a Wordian/Capitanian lacustrine siltstone in the Rio do Rastro Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Paranaichthys.
