Hexapriscopedatus subtriangularis was named by Al-Tamimi and Saqqa (2008). It is not extant. It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Holotype 1/XVII/1, paratypes 1/XVII/2-4, Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Yarmouk University, Irbid, Jordan.
