Hertleinia marksi

Taxonomy
Cancellaria (Hertleinia) marksi was named by Olsson (1964) [DISTRIBUTION: Pliocene; Ecuador.]. Its type specimen is USNM 643876, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Quebrada Camarones [Esmeraldas Fm], which is in a Pliocene marine sandstone/sandstone in the Esmeraldas Formation of Ecuador.

It was recombined as Hertleinia marksi by Landau et al. (2012).
