Taxonomy
Groenlandites kummeli was named by Tozer (1994). Its type specimen is GSC 28452 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 68203, Milepost 375 east, which is in an Aegean marine siliciclastic in the Toad Formation of Canada.
