Taxonomy
Tuchodiceras costatum was named by Tozer (1994). Its type specimen is GSC 28367 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 68284, Tuchodi Bluff, Liard River, which is in a Ladinian marine siliciclastic in the Toad Formation of Canada.
