Placites polydactylus

Taxonomy
Pinacoceras polydactylum was named by von Mojsisovics (1873). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sandling, red Gastropoden beds, which is in a Lacian carbonate limestone in the Halstatt Formation of Austria.

It was recombined as Placites polydactylus by von Mojsisovics (1902), Shevyrev (1990), Tozer (1994), Shevyrev (1995).
