Taxonomy
Silenticeras bamberi was named by Tozer (1994). Its type specimen is GSC 28680 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 42535, Graham River, which is in a Longobardian marine siliciclastic in the Toad Formation of Canada.
