Taxonomy
Arctosirenites southeri was named by Tozer (1994). Its type specimen is GSC 14141 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 26167, Buchanan Lake, Axel Heiberg Island, which is in a Tuvalian marine siliciclastic in the Blaa Mountain Formation of Canada.
