Brachyops laticeps
Taxonomy
Brachyops laticeps was named by Owen (1855). Its type specimen is BMNH R4414, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mangali, Wardha valley, which is in a Triassic terrestrial horizon in the Kamthi Formation of India. It is the type species of Brachyops.
