Rebbanasaurus jaini
Taxonomy
Rebbanasaurus jaini was named by Evans et al. (2001). Its type specimen is VPL/JU/KR12, a mandible (Posterior region of left dentary), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Paikasigudem village, which is in a Toarcian/Aalenian terrestrial siltstone/sandstone in the Kota Formation of India. It is the type species of Rebbanasaurus.
