Bocatherium mexicanum
Taxonomy
Bocatherium mexicanum was named by Clark and Hopson (1985). Its type specimen is IGM 3492, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Huizachal Canyon (general), which is in a Pliensbachian floodplain siltstone in the La Boca Formation of Mexico. It is the type species of Bocatherium.
