Taxonomy
Sirenotibetites cornutus was named by Tozer (1994). Its type specimen is GSC 28750 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 83829, Crying Girl Prairie Creek, which is in a Lacian marine horizon in the Pardonet Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Sirenotibetites.
