Taxonomy
Helictites minor was named by Tozer (1994). Its type specimen is GSC 72197 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 98518, Juvavites gully, Pardonet Hill, which is in an Alaunian marine siliciclastic in the Pardonet Formation of Canada.
