Taxonomy
Juvavites (Anatomites) strongi was named by Smith (1927). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Brock Mountain, north end and west side (Juvavites subzone), which is in a Tuvalian carbonate limestone in the Hosselkus Formation of California.
It was recombined as Projuvavites strongi by Tozer (1994).
