Taxonomy
Beyrichites yuati was named by Skwarko (1973). Its type specimen is CPC 7756 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ab20, Yuat River, which is in an Anisian marine shale in the Yuat Formation of Papua New Guinea.
