Bavaricordylus molassicus
Taxonomy
Bavaricordylus molassicus was named by Böhme (2010). Its type specimen is BSPG 2008 XXIV 1, a mandible (anterior part of right dentary), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Puttenhausen 1, which is in a MN 5 floodplain horizon in the Upper Freshwater Molasse Formation of Germany.
